What do I need to do to feel the way I want to feel?
Is what I am doing today getting me closer to where I want to be tomorrow?
What insights did you just receive from those questions? Did you see your life in a different light? Did you acknowledge something you weren’t acknowledging before? Or maybe you affirmed a deep knowing in yourself.
Do you see the power of a potent question?
So many times when we don’t have the answers in life, it is because we are asking poor questions. We find ourself going round and round in situations because we keep asking the same poor questions.
Sadly, we often gloss over the dozens of questions we ask each day, which is unfortunate, since questions are one of the most powerful drivers prompting our behavior. Tony Robbins describes how we all have a primary question – a question we ask everyday of our lives that controls the focus and direction of our lives. In this course, we are going to “question the question” by exploring our primary questions in relation to various aspects of the questioning process including, reviewing values & needs and exploring 6 types of Socratic questions.
For us to create something new in our lives, we need to acquire unfamiliar ways of approaching familiar subjects and potent questioning accelerates our journey into the unknown, where the answers are waiting for us. Potent questioning enables us to have immediate “aha” moments that have the potential to entirely change the direction of our lives.
The quality of the answer has to do with the quality of the question, and too many people are asking half-baked questions which leave them unsatisfied for years. Are you asking quality questions? Learn how using the right question can accelerate your intentional efforts and help you gain the perspective you need to facilitate a much quicker response from Source.
